October’s Yogi of the Month is Fiona Hearle.

Fiona has been nominated by our teacher Niki for her continuous dedication and steady improvement.

Fiona has practised steadily and finally left beginners to come to regular classes. We’ve noticed such an improvement in her coordination and a growing softness to her practise – well done Fiona!

Name: Fiona Hearle

How and why did you find your way on to the mat? I started practicing yoga about two years ago as my friends and sister said how much they enjoyed and benefitted from it.

How did you feel after your first yoga class at Rosieglo Yoga? I felt great and energised after my first yoga session!

Have you noticed any benefits or changes in yourself since practising yoga?  I have become more mindful and more self reflective as a person since starting yoga. Also I’m a bit more supple.

What do you like most about practising at Rosieglo Yoga? I like going to the yoga sessions with others in the class. There is a real sense of community and all the yoga teachers are amazing plus we always have a giggle at some stage during the class!

What’s your favourite pose at the moment or what are you enjoying most? My favourite pose at the moment is Warrior 2.

What words of wisdom would you share with someone who is new to yoga or thinking of giving it a go? My favourite pose at the moment is Warrior 2.
