We re-open for studio-based classes from Monday 17th May and are reeaaallly looking forward to rekindling that in-person happy yoga vibe that we strive for at Rosieglo.

We realise that coming back to studio-based classes might raise lots of questions and so we’ve collated all the queries we’ve had so far and answered them below.

If you have any further questions please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Your question: Hi, I would love it if there were gentle, getting-back-into-it classes. I have done yoga over the last year but not as much as before last March and I know I’ll need something appropriate to me, without it being a beginners class. Thank you.

Our answer:  We’ve got you covered.  We’ll be offering a Back to Yoga five week course to help you get used to being back on the mat and take things a little slower as we recap on the poses, transitions and remind ourselves how to b r e a t h e. All our standard classes will of course take into consideration that some of us might be a little rusty and offer lots of alternatives so that you can work at your own level as you ease in.

Your question: Loved the park yoga last year. Early morning classes anytime from 7am and finishing just before 9am are great.

Our answer: We love Park Yoga too! We’ve nudged our early morning class on Monday, Wednesday and Friday to start at little earlier at 7.45-8.30am so that you can get your yoga on before the day runs away with you. We’ve also added a new 10.30am outdoor yoga class this year on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.  All our outdoor Park Yoga classes take place in the beautiful Naunton Park Gardens with open sky and views of Leckhampton Hill.

Your question: I loved the 8am Park classes last year and would also like to continue with this time at the studio on some days if possible?

Our answer: Yes, you’ll be able to join an early morning Park Yoga class at 7.45am on Monday, Wednesday and Friday – weather allowing!  If it’s rained off we’ll try to let you know 30 mins before and will move the class to the studio where you can either join in person at the studio on a first come-first served basis, or Zoom in online from home.  We’ll also be running a weekly Morning Rise class every Tuesday and Thursday at 8.00am from the studio which you can choose to join either in person or online via Zoom.

Your question: I would really love to come back to Rosieglo. I miss the small classes at the studio but have put on weight and am more unfit so I’m quite nervous about what I could push myself to do!

Our answer: We here you! It’s been one heck of a year and it’s not surprising that we may have changed a little whether due to illness, injury or life-style.  We completely understand that it might feel a little nerve-wracking picking up from where you left off last year.  Please know that we will do all we can to meet you where you are now – that’s the beauty of yoga.  We’ll take our time to help you say hello again to your mat and gently ease into your movement practise.  And to help you find your way we’re adding a few new classes and courses to our Timetable including; our Back to Yoga 5 week course; our Yoga for Chronic Pain Relief workshop suitable for those living with ongoing illness, recovering from injury or recuperating from long Covid; and our weekly Chair Yoga class, perfect for those who would benefit from a little extra support in their yoga practise.  Please see our Timetable for up to date information.

Your question: I am crossing my fingers that you will be doing the over 55 class as I honestly feel that I need to go back to the beginning to regain some confidence.

Our answer: We can’t wait to get our Over 55s class back in the studio!  From 18th May our Over 55s class will be back in the studio at it’s usual Tuesday 10.45am slot.  The class will be live-streamed so you can choose to join us in person at the studio or online via Zoom.

Your question: Weekend outdoor yoga is better for me.

Our answer: From the beginning of May you can join us for an outdoor yoga class at Naunton Park Gardens at 8.30am on Saturday and Sunday.

Your question: Please keep the online option – works really well for me as I work from home. Thanks.

Our answer:  We realise that the online Zoom option really works for some people and so we will continue to live-stream our standard studio-based classes for now, giving you the option to join us in person at the studio or Zoom in from home.

Your question: Wonder whether you could get people to use NHS track and trace app whilst visiting the studio. Also whilst ok ish to come into studio why not continue outdoor for as long as possible?

Our answer:  Yes, we will have a Track and Trace QR code at the studio for people to scan upon entry.  Don’t worry if you can’t scan as we’ll also keep a record of all class bookings as required. And we’ve added more outdoor classes to the timetable for those who prefer to take their yoga in the fresh air.

Your question: Not sure about costs?

Our answer: Prices start from £6.50 for a virtual class and £8.50 for a studio class. Please see our Prices page for up to date information on all our studio and virtual class passes.

Your question: Will there be hybrid classes which are both online and in the studio?

Our answer:  Yes absolutely.  Whilst we can offer socially distanced classes in the studio, we will live-stream the classes so that you can choose to Zoom in from home if you prefer. We expect to continue this option for now and will review later in the year.

Your question: A lot of your evening classes have stopped /moved earlier. I’m aware this could be to do with popularity but hope some evening (post 7pm) classes can start again. With little children I can’t do classes until they are in bed.

Our answer:  We plan to gradually build up our class timetable to what it was pre-covid so very much hope to once again offer two classes each evening – around 6.00pm and 7.15pm.  Please keep an eye on the Timetable.  As soon as the demand is there, we’ll add more classes.

Your question: As I’m now back at work, classes that either finish by 8:30am or start 6pm onwards ( weekends any time) work.

Our answer:  You’re in luck!  Our early morning Park Yoga classes run 7.45-8.30am.  Our evening classes at the studio start from 6.00pm. And we have weekend classes running indoors and outdoors!

You said: Thank you so much for keeping going during the 3 Lockdowns it’s really helped maintain my physical and mental health.

We say:  That’s really lovely to hear – thank you. We’ve tried really hard to keep offering yoga classes throughout the last year and a bit. It’s meant a lot of quick learning and trial and error so thank you for your patience whilst we got to grip with new things :)
