A personal favourite – I love the feeling of strength, clarity and determination this pose invokes.  Even better with a party cup :)

 

How to:

Step the feet wide apart.  Turn the back toes inwards slightly and the front toes out at 90 degrees.

Inhale to raise the arms out sideways to shoulder height with palms down.

Exhale to bend the front knee and stack above the ankle, sink the hips and ground firmly through both feet.

Hold for 5 good breathes.  Repeat on the other side.

 

Great for:

Increasing stamina, strengthening legs and ankles, stretching groin, chest and shoulders.

Generally making you feel like a badass warrior :)
