March’s Yogi of the Month is Catherine Leggett.

Catherine has been coming regularly to Rosieglo since October 2017 and has clocked up an impressive 55 classes and counting!

I can see a real improvement with Catherine’s yoga practise, not just in physical strength and awareness but her connection on the mat and understanding of her own body.  She’s built a regular, consistent practise and is able to feel and see the benefits.

It’s been lovely to witness Catherine’s development and notice when she works to create space and length in her body.

Name: Catherine Leggett

How and why did you find your way on to the mat?

I started coming to relax and now I love seeing how I get stronger and improve my practice week by week. .

How did you feel after your first yoga class at Rosieglo Yoga?

I’d just moved to the area and was really happy to have found a class that suited me so quickly!

Have you noticed any benefits or changes in yourself since practising yoga?

My balance and flexibility are so much better and I’m much more aware of my body and where I hold tension.

What do you like most about practising at Rosieglo Yoga?

I love the little community of people, everyone is so supportive and friendly.

What’s your favourite pose at the moment or what are you enjoying most?

I like tree pose- it’s challenging but so satisfying when you manage to balance for the whole time!

What words of wisdom would you share with someone who is new to yoga or thinking of giving it a go?

Definitely give it a go, it’s really good for your mind and body. There’s no competition and you can just be yourself.
