August’s Yogi of the Month is Sarah Moliver.

Sarah has been nominated by our lovely teachers Reut and Niki.

Sarah is a quiet trooper.  She’s clocked up nearly 100 classes at Rosieglo since starting as a complete beginner – amazing!  It’s been noticed how she quietly works hard, has an admirable dedication, is open to new things and makes some beautiful lines.

She’s also very kind and nice to the teachers :)

Say hello to our Yogi of the Month…

Name: Sarah Moliver

How and why did you find your way on to the mat?  I was feeling rather unfit and experiencing more and more problems with poor balance and had been thinking about yoga for a while but hadn’t done anything about it. A friend suggested Rosieglo which is easy for me as I only live 5 minutes away (by bicycle). After 1 session I was ‘hooked’.

How did you feel after your first yoga class at Rosieglo Yoga? I felt very well after my first class which was very enjoyable and although I am not naturally a ‘bendy’ person I found that there was plenty that I could do as well as plenty to work on (in a good way!)

Have you noticed any benefits or changes in yourself since practising yoga?  I find yoga very beneficial. I find it difficult to ‘turn off’ my brain and find the sessions very welcome and helpful in refocusing my energy. Also calming whilst energising. I have noticed an improvement in my posture, flexibility, balance, strength and stamina. The breathing is wonderful.

What do you like most about practising at Rosieglo Yoga? Absolutely wonderful teachers who are not only very good at what they do but also very kind. The studio is very welcoming and non competitive which is an atmosphere that I like.

What’s your favourite pose at the moment or what are you enjoying most? Warrior 2 – just that feeling of taking up space…

What words of wisdom would you share with someone who is new to yoga or thinking of giving it a go? Give it a go – there is something for everyone.
