October’s Yogi of the Month is Robert Perry.

Robert has worked hard to build up his practise to a thrice weekly event most weeks and his improvement has been noticeable amongst the teachers at Rosieglo.  Incremental things such as being able to sit a little taller, having greater stamina throughout the flow sequences and a deeper connection with breath and movement are all helping Robert to develop a whole body and mind approach on the mat.  It’s these small changes on the mat that we can then apply to our life off the mat – helping us to build a more wholesome version of ourselves.
Say hello to our Yogi of the Month…

Name: Robert Perry

How and why did you find your way on to the mat?

I wanted to get fitter and liked the mind altering aspect of yoga.

How did you feel after your first yoga class at Rosieglo Yoga?

High as a kite

Have you noticed any benefits or changes in yourself since practising yoga?

I am feeling more positive about myself.

What do you like most about practising at Rosieglo Yoga?

The yoga teachers are passionate and have an eye for detail.

What’s your favourite pose at the moment or what are you enjoying most?

I enjoy the whole experience. Not a fan of the music, silence with others in a safe loving environment is precious to me.

What words of wisdom would you share with someone who is new to yoga or thinking of giving it a go?

It’s always only about your journey. There is no destination.
