Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and join us for a magical day retreat in a tipi at the picturesque Elkstone Studios. This unique experience combines the tranquility of yoga with the heart-felt expression of art, designed to open your creative channels and rejuvenate your spirit.

Join us for a day designed to completely give your mind, body and soul a break from the norm and revive your spirit.

You’ll spend your day in a magical Cotswold Tipi, escaping from real life to treat yourself to a day that’s all about reconnecting, nourishing and reviving.

Led by Rosie Marsland of Rosieglo Yoga and artist extraordinaire Sarah Baker, we’ve teamed up to create a day that will truly nourish your soul with great yoga to inspire, creativity workshops to express, amazing food provided by the wonderful Knead Bakery to nourish, meditation to clarify, mini aromatherapy head massage to ensure deeep relaaaxation and great company to give you that all-round heart-warming feeling of connection.

Morning

Welcome cuppa

Yoga with Rosie, designed to centre your body and awaken your inner muse.

We’ll use gentle flows and mindful breathing to prepare you for a journey of creative expression.

This yoga sequence will feed your inspiration, alternating between active poses and quiet, introspective ones: The active poses will open you up and get your creative juices flowing; the restorative ones will give you space to listen and find calm.

Your inner artist will be unblocked and you’ll be ready to embrace your creative maestro with gusto and abandonment!

Mid-morning cuppa and chat time

Canvas and paint art workshop guided by Sarah. Sarah will explain and demonstrate the techniques, then be on hand to advise and guide you as your inner creativity unfurls.

Whether you’ve not picked up a paintbrush in years or are a seasoned artist, this workshop offers a beautiful way to reconnect with your creative side.

Painting can be a powerful tool for self-expression, helping to shift emotions, bring clarity, and foster a sense of connection.

Sarah’s expertise and encouragement will inspire you to explore new artistic avenues and discover the joy of creating something uniquely yours.

Lunch

Your lunch will be especially prepared by the amazing Knead Bakery. You’ll enjoy shared platters full of of healthy, fresh, deliciousness.

We have lots of big tables perfect for huddling around and chatting, as you nourish and refuel after your morning of movement and creativity.

And there’s the option to take your lunch alfresco at our bespoke picnic area and perhaps even have a sneaky little lunch-time nap in the inviting wooden recliners.

Afternoon

Clay creation art workshop. The hands-on nature of working with clay offers a unique sensory experience that melts away stress and promotes relaxation. Guided by Sarah, you’ll enjoy the simple, therapeutic pleasure of shaping clay into beautiful forms, providing a perfect escape from the daily hustle, rejuvenating your mind and refreshing your spirit.

Afternoon soothing cuppa

Meditation, breath and yoga nidra experience. You’ll be guided through a beautiful breath and meditation sequence to help you reground, settle and digest all that inspiring creativity.

You’ll snuggle up to the sounds of the rustling trees, birds and nature doing its thing as you follow your journey inwards to find deeeep relaaaxation.

Mini aromatherapy head massage. This is the cherry on the top. As you drift on your way to relaxation, you’ll be offered a mini aromatherapy head massage to melt any lingering bubbles of tension.

This utterly blissful experience will leave you feeling light, serene, and completely rejuvenated, adding the perfect finishing touch to your day of relaxation and creativity.

Our magical tipi, nestled away in a little glade just 20 minutes from Cheltenham is the perfect spot for your day of escape. Whilst the world continues to spin around, you’ll enter a world of fairy lights, nature, good food, great company, yoga and art to truly inspire and revive you.

Rosie Marsland

Rosie is the founder of Rosieglo Yoga and loves to teach in a way that brings you connection, fun and gives you a moment of respite away from the daily hustle.

Her classes are all about moving in a nourishing way that feels good, builds strength, brings ease and settles the mind.

She encourages you to notice the subtle shifts that can happen within your yoga time and how these can positively bring change to your life off of the mat.

Expect a warm-hearted class with lots of light moments to bring a smile.

Sarah Baker

Sarah is passionate about nurturing each student’s creative soul and you’ll find her teaching uplifting, inspiring and supportive.

Sarah strives for quality and believes everyone is an artist at heart.

In a world where we rely so much on technology and communicating via screens, Sarah is passionate about providing opportunities for everyone to find time to get arty…to breathe and take time to enjoy some head space, try something newchallenge yourselfnurture a talent but most of all have fun!

We’re limiting space to just 15 people to ensure each participant receives personalised attention and care.

This intimate setting allows us to provide hands-on assists during yoga sessions, soothing mini aromatherapy head massages, and one-on-one artistic guidance for your creations.

You’ll have a day filled with ‘aha!’ moments that ignite inspiration and creativity, lifting your spirits and opening new perspectives, coupled with plenty of ‘aahhh’ moments that bring you deep relaxation and tranquility.

We want you to experience the feeling of being nurtured and looked after, with every detail carefully considered to soothe your soul, ignite your creativity and ensure you walk away with a renewed sense of complete well-being.

Q: When and where does this magical day of heart, mind and soul nourishment take place?

A: Come join us Friday 6th September or Friday 27th September. Your welcome cuppa awaits you anytime between 9.00-9.30am. We’ll be waiting for you at Elkstone Studios approximately 7 miles from Cheltenham and 6 miles from Cirencester. You’ll then spend the day with us in your little yoga and art bubble before gently emerging from our Tipi at 4.00pm.

Q: Do I have to be good at art?

A: This day of retreat and escapism is for everyone, whether you’re a budding Van Gogh or haven’t picked up a paint brush since you were at school. Sarah is an expert in encouraging your inner artist to effortlessly emerge.

Q: What art will I do?

A: Your morning session will be all about putting your paintbrush to canvas. Sarah will guide you through simple steps to layer your art-piece and get confident with your brushstrokes. The afternoon session will get you using your hands with clay and enjoying the tactile experience of creating with your fingertips. There’s nothing quite like squishing that clay! You’ll take home two masterpieces unique to you!

Q: Do I have to have done yoga before?

A: Our yoga sequence on the day will be focused on nourishing movements to shift your energy and release inspiration. So long as you can get up and down from the floor unaided you’ll be fine. If you have any concerns at all, please do get in touch and have a chat with Rosie.

Q: Do I need to bring a yoga mat?

A: All yoga mats will be provided, with extra so that you can double-up if you need more cushioning. If you have your own yoga mat you are welcome to bring it.

Q: Where is this magical place?

A: Your retreat day of escape will take place at the lovely Elkstone Studios, just a 15 minute drive from Cheltenham or Cirencester. Please get in touch if you don’t have a car and we may be able to organise a lift share for you.

Q: Is there parking?

A: Yes, there is plenty of free on-site parking.

Q: What if I have dietary requirements?

A: Please get in touch to let us know if you have any special dietary requirements so that we can discuss with Knead Bakery and ensure you will be catered for.
