This is one for the Teens!

This afternoon retreat session especially for Teens is just the ticket to strengthen and tone the body, settle and calm the mind and feel renewed from the inside out.

The afternoon will begin with a group yoga flow, where our Teen Yoga teacher Chelsea will guide you through a sequence of yoga postures to a feel good playlist. This sequence will build up your energy, warm your body and challenge your strength and flexibility (in both the body and mind!). You’ll get a great buzz from feeling your muscles engage and waking up your strength from within.

Then we’ll take a little pause to enjoy a delicious fresh and healthy juice or smoothie.

The middle part of the retreat will introduce you to some fun partner and acro yoga , supporting each other into handstands and other contortions – you will be surprised at what you can do with a little help from those around you!

Next, it’s time to shift the energy, using guided meditation and breathing practice to learn how we have the tools within to bring us to a calmer state of mind in just a few minutes. These short practices are simple to learn and will be something you can use at any time, at home, at school or whenever you need to find a bit of calm and feel in control.

This brings us to the perfect opportunity to enjoy a warming herbal tea and homemade sweet snack.

The afternoon will finish with the most relaxing, stretchy yin yoga sequence and a fully guided relaxation to totally settle anxieties and calm your mind – utter bliss.

Whether you come with friends or on your own, this afternoon is sure to leave you feeling strong, flexible and calm. Ready to take on the week, and any challenges that life can throw at you.

This Teen Wellbeing Retreat is a little taster of our upcoming weekly Teen Yoga for Strength and Calm class starting in September.

All yoga mats and props are provided, all you need is some comfy clothes, a bottle of water and some snuggly socks!
